not really feeling it. I honestly think the accord Coupe looks nicer (granted its unfair to compare the coupe to this). But I even think the Hyundai Sonata looks nicer.

Now, looks nicer doesn't mean nicer car.

I do like the new front end. I'm anxious to see the M3 that this design generates, it could end up being super hot.

But I totally agree with Arty. With the massive increase in quality of vehicles that regular and "budget" brands are producing, what are luxury brands going to do to set themselves apart? And how much is it going to cost?

A loaded Kia Optima is $32k. The 3 series STARTS at $34k. To spec out a 328 with similar options is almost $45k, and the BMW doesn't even offer some of the stuff the Optima has like a dual pane moon roof and cooled front seats. And the 328 has less horsepower AND gets worse gas mileage. What do you get for that extra $13k you're paying for the BMW?

What do you get for the extra $13k? Hmm.

Only things are RWD, better handling, and higher resale value. If that is worth another 13 thousand...

its only a higher resale value because you paid more for it. Honda's hold their resale quite firmly as well.

It's the new MT-COTY...don't even need to test drive it.
