The First Avenger: Captain America

Chris Evans (Human Torch in Fantastic 4) will play Steve Rogers aka Captain America.
Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith, V) will play the Red Skull.

Iiiiii Don't know.... Hugo is awesome, but Human Torch ftl imo. They could've came up with a MUCH better Capt. America.

Hugo as Red Skull is a good choice. So is Steve for Captain.

Why? Chris is perfect for it.

only thing i see with the pick being bad is that Captain America IS the Human Torch!?!?!?!?!?!? thatd be like having Tobey Maguire playing Aquaman in a movie, i would have thought they'd want someone who would become the part as its a 10 movie deal, and Chris is already one well known super hero. other than that he seems like a great person to grow with the part/character

It kinda looks like a cross between his original and his current costume.

The Fantastic Four movies while a Marvel entity, were not made by Marvel studios. As it appears now, to me atleast, the only stories that are being brought into the one universe are those being made by Marvel Studios.

Therefore Xmen 1-3, Spiderman 1-3, FF1+2, Elektra, Daredevil, etc are not part of it.

i'm not saying he can't pull the character off, but given his human tortch role it just makes it feel wrong/like a bastard child is all

Yea, I agree, maybe if he went to the DC universe, but playing another character in Marvel seems lame. It's probably been done before though.

Yeah the Fantastic Four movies weren't that good. They'll be forgotten in a few years if they haven't been forgotten already.

Tommy Lee Jones has signed on to play Colonel Phillips. He is the one who recruited Steve Rogers for Project Rebirth.

never been much of a fan... but I did like the Cap America vs Bullseye fight scene in the comics. Cpt America should of been played by when he was young. In my mind, this is what Cpt America should look like.
