Yeah no shit. Just as I was about to turn it off and put in a movie the Steelers mount a come back. Raider News: Hugh Jackson fired after 1 year. LOL. Didn't give him much of a shot at head coach but I think what this team needs is a VETERAN head coach. No more first time head coaches. They need someone with experience, someone who the team will respect, someone who will install some discipline. There are some quality coaches out there. 1. Tony Dungy 2. Bill Cowher 3. Jon Gruden 4. Herm Edwards
Raiders hire Dennis Allen (Bronco's Defensive Coordinator) as head coach. Colts hire Chuck Pagano (Raven's Defensive Coordinator) as head coach. Normally offensive minded teams going defensive. Could this be a shift from offensive NFL to defensive NFL? We saw what the Raven's and 49er's did with great defense this year. Dennis Allen took the Bronco's from last in the league in defense to 20th this year. And some would argue their defense is what kept them in games this year. Chuck Pagano's defense was 3rd best in points allowed and yards allowed.
Bucs hire Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano for the same position! I'm really excited for this signing, Schiano seems like a really good stand up kind of guy, hearing how he helped out a player who got hurt is really cool. He ran a pro style system at Rutgers, so no gimmicky offense or defenses with inflated numbers and runs a hard nose style game. Schiano has recruited some top players has produced some great NFL players recently who came right into starting roles in Kenny Britt, Ray Rice, Jason and Devon McCourty, Jeremy Zuttah to name a few. Mohammed Sanu a WR from rutgers will be entering the draft, possible that the Bucs pick him early in the 2nd. Schiano is also known for his tough D. Now for offense and defensive coordinators.
