The 2009 season is now finished and the start of the 2010 season is right around the corner. The New Orleans Saints are World Champions, Brett Favre was a Viking, the Bengals beat out the Steelers for the AFC North and Chris Johnson became only the 6th player in NFL history to run for over 2,000 yards... What will happen this year in the NFL!?

The annual NFL Scouting Combine is just a week away, with the 2010 NFL Draft (now 3 days long) following closely behind in April. So that being said it's never to early to start discussing, speculating and rooting for your team in the upcoming season.

Here is the link to the 2009 NFL thread.

Here's some of the newest updates for the 2010 NFL Season, starting off with the Raaaaidaaahhssss!

Chiefs are going all the way this year!

    Too early for April Fools?
  3. Cali Korleone Fists with your toes?

I predict LT will be a Patriot.

that damn dumb Pollock sure has worked out quite well for the rAAAAAAAIIIIIIDDDDDAAAAAAA's ever since he stopped bar hopping and actin' a fool after his first two seasons. man has a beast of a leg.

    Bravo Ravens.

Sanchez and knee issues, man son you've been "protecting" that knee since your senior year in High School :rlaugh:

3 day draft with same number of rounds = :tard:

and we'll see where my loyalties lye after the draft, but i know I'll be rooting for Redskins to win NFC East, Bears to give Cry baby Cutler some defensive help and INT throwing school so he stops leading the league in them, and the Bronco's to do something with a disgruntled top 10-15 Tight end, and the definite loss of their number 1 receiver that singlehandedly gave them 2 wins last year.

I try and try to give McDoushnuts a chance, and just when i start instilling trust in him he rips the mask off and shows the true Bilichikenshit spawn he really is...

I'd like to see a solid draft class out of denver but i'm still torn on whether they learned their lesson or not. IMO a good draft class, a drop in the coaches i know everything mentality, or just realize he's not ready yet to have the attitude he's trying to have in the locker room, and a 8-8 season would be nice.

but i'm not gunna lye i wouldnt cry if he drafts some diamon in the rough QB in hopes he's the greatest QB coach in the world and it falls flat on his face.

    :rlaugh:

That's possible, seeing how every player on their way out makes a stop in at NE for one last chance to either get to or win a SB. But if NE gets Peppers from freeagency, then IDK if they'll have enough money left over to give LT.

Who do the Broncos have that's a top 10-15 TE? Scheffler? Uhh... no dude. And Marshall woun't be a Bronco in 2010.
  6. FreeBird Selbstmord ist Schmerzfre

:tard: he was an alternate for the probowl in 2009, had the 5th most yards of all AFC TE's 8th in NFL, and had the 5th/6th most TD's for TE's in NFL with the NFC having 3 of them in the 2008 season. He also average the most yards per reception over all other TE's in 2008. He was only targeted about 1/3rd the number of times this year so yeah he's that good they just didnt use him this past year.
4 srs he's in the top 1/3rd of all NFL TE's.
this is what i'm saying. They are going to have to figure out a way to replace him/fill the whole
  7. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

Still don't think he's a top 10-15 TE. Broncos will get someone in the draft, maybe Dez Bryant, Golden Tate or Mardy Gilyard.... They should make a push for Boldin in FA.
  8. FreeBird Selbstmord ist Schmerzfre

Unfortunately you aren't the only one. but no one yet can name a solid 10 other TE's that are honestly better than he is. By no accounts am i claiming he's one of the best in the league, but that he's in or around the top 5 or 6 in the afc alone (now that gonzo is out). Many people feel like he had an awesome year in 08' and that his attitude was all wrong in 09' which limited his playing time and therefore isn't good. i hope Broncos dont get boldin, 4Srs. He has the same/similar alpha mentality as Marshal and unless he really thinks he's got a shot at a SB in denver he'll cause locker room issues.
  9. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

Ok. 10 TEs in the AFC that are better than Scheffler, based on performance stats in 2009. NFL.com was my source.

    1. Dallas Clark
    2. Antonio Gates
    3. Heath Miller
    4. Zack Miller
    5. Todd Heap
    6. Dustin Keller
    7. Bo Scaife
    8. Owen Daniels
    9. Mercedes Lewis
    10. Anthony Fasano

top 10 NFC TEs based on stats of 2009

    1. Jason Witten
    2. Tony Gonzales
    3. Vernon Davis
    4. Kellen Winslow
    5. Brent Celek
    6. Greg Olson
    7. Visanthe Shiancoe
    8. Jermichael Finley
    9. John Carlson
    10. Fred Davis

Tony Scheffler comes in ranked at #25 in the NFL and #11 in the AFC.

I wonder what kind of crazyness we'll see in this uncapped year.
  11. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

Probably not to much in way of free agency... but give it a year or two and it'll probably look similar to MLB with players moving around every other season.
  12. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

    Darren Sharper
    Julius Peppers

definately not disputing his stats for 09' but he was out for a total of 4 games worth with groin injuries and benched for basically 2 games on top of that and ranked 21st in targets among tight ends.

basically 20 other TE's were thrown to more times, yeah its an excuse but in my opinion its a decent one . that doesnt make him the issue if they arent throwing it to him is all i'm saying. especially when you put up his 08 numbers and he ranked in top ten in most stats. and number 1 for yards per catch (which he also held for 09 as well)

and to say he's less talented than bolded is an opinion, because if you include both 08 and 09 he's above all of them. he just didnt get the chances that they were given  can't blame the player if he's not given the oportunity

i included shaincoe casue the man had favre :slow: and last year 08 the only thing he beat tony out in was TD's by 2. tony owned every other stat above him by a large margin

but then agian its all about opinions i guess. but even if he wants a bronco i wouldnt take more than 10 or so guys above him
  14. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

ANYWAY, former 2,000yd RB Jamal Lewis has been cut by the Browns.

Carolina geering up for a season without peppers
  16. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

Yeah they woun't resign him and more than likely woun't put the franchise tag on him since it'll cost them $20mill. He's done in Carolina, "experts" are speculating he'll go somewhere within the the Div like ATL or NO, or to a team like NE or San Fran
  17. FreeBird Selbstmord ist Schmerzfre

i hopes new orleans. peppers is in the same boat LT and Boldin are in. they want to play for championships NOW, i see all three going to teams who have a chance to go deep into playoffs in 2010.
  18. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

Moss maybe not return to Patriots after 2010

Moss is arguably the best wideout to play the game since Jerry Rice, and even though the Pats have Wes Welker I think it would be stupid for them NOT to re-sign Moss to atleast a 1 year deal with an option for a 2nd. He is 33, but he can still play better than 95% of the WR's in the game today.
  19. FreeBird Selbstmord ist Schmerzfre

    i'll make this prediction simple.

If Patriots don't resign Moss, they WILL miss the playoffs next year.
  20. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

Possible... Welker is a beast WR and if they don't re-sign Moss for the 2011 season they might draft a WR in either the 2nd or 3rd round... But then again I don';t think they got Welker till the 5th round. So who knows.
