My ultimate hopes/upsets for the next couple weeks:

Oct 30: Mizzou loses to Nebraska
    Mich State loses to Iowa
    Oregon slaughters USC
Boise, Utah, and TCU all win

    Nov 6: TCU beats Utah
    Bama loses to LSU
    Baylor beats Oak State

:woot: Damnit i shoulda put $100 on all 6 of those games :(

I'm 100% on the Boise State for Champs Band wagon and have been for a while, but with my college game predictions/hopes going as well as they did last week I'll cement their future now in more hopes that each brick will fall where it needs to fall come Dec. 5th.

There are many, MANY ways that things could fall their way but heres is my list of what i think is most possible/plausible to happen. (you'd think going 56-4 overall and 2-1 in major bowls since 2006 would be enough LOL.)

#4 Boise State: They need to win out and kill a hopefully ranked Nevada on Nov. 26

#2 Auburn: Lose to Bama on Nov. 26 and lose in the SEC Championship game (Longshot given SEC West doesn't have much this year)

#3TCU: It's not necessary a must but Losing to Utah this week couldn't hurt, but they can't blow them out either.

#5 Utah: If they beats TCU then they will probably have to lose to ND to keep from being ahead of Boise State come Dec. 5th, and ND's their last "tough" game and it'll be played at ND.

#6 Bama: Lose to LSU Nov. 6, and beat Auburn Nov. 26 they would finish with 2 losses and not play for the SEC title much less a National one.

#7 Nebraska: Lose the Big 12 Title game (rest of their schedule is pretty easy)

#8 Oklahoma: Lose to EITHER Baylor or OSU, they play them back to back away in their last 2 games, hopefully one of them can trap them. If they go to Big 12 Champ they gotta win.

#9 Wisconsin: Lose to Michigan on Nov. 20, game will be played in Mich.

#10 LSU: Beat Bama on Nov.6 and it couldn't hurt to lose to Arkansas on Nov. 27, but if Auburn wins out minus Bama game it wont matter.

#11 OSU: Lose to either PSU, Iowa, Mich., they play AT Iowa so thats their best bet.

#12 Mizzou: Same boat as LSU So long as Nebraska wins out they don't matter. Otherwise they'll have to lose in the Big 12 Championship game.

#13 Stanford: I'm hoping Oregon gous undefeated, but even so they need Oregon to lose 2 games, so they're pretty much out. Even still lets hope Arizona beat them in a close one (I don't want Luck's draft status to take to big a hit :slow: )

#14 Mich State: They got RAPED by Iowa this is the only one loss team i don't see jumping an undefeated Boise State

#15 Arizona: Lose to either Stanford, USC, or Oregon. They play them back to back to back and 2 of them away in their next 3 games.

#17 Ok State: Lose to Texas in Texas on Nov. 13. However if they win out they will be playing in the Big 12 Championship game, most likely against Nebraska, and a win their could shove them right up the ranks if all the previous stars line up perfectly for Boise a 1 los Big 12 Champion could trump them

Everyone else has 2 losses and i HOPE the voters wont put any 2 loss team ahead of an Undefeated Boise State, i know the computers wont.

Not that any of this matter TOO much needs to happen, but in week 9 of this season every game that Boise needed fell right into place, and this IS college football where anything can and sometimes does happen :slow: But its still entirely not likely.

BOSIE STATE for BCS Champs UPDATE!!!

    However:

A&M Beat OU, so OU is officially out of the hunt
TTU Beat MIZZOU, so the MIZZ is officially out of the hunt
STAN Beat ARZ, so as long shot as it was ARZ is now officially out of the hunt
Iowa State, almost, ALMOST Beat Nebraska, so hopefully a Big 12 South Team CAN indeed topple them in their Championship game

Upsets that would be nice for this week:

Penn State Rolls INTO the horseshoe and topples OSU.
Texas Tech high off its win over mizzou Rattles a beaten OU at OU.
Texas finds a way to knock out a thriving Ok State at home :nonono:

and last and Longest of shots

Georgia with A.J. Green take out Auburn in a close one. No ones going to give Georgia a shot going into Auburn, but since green has been back they have become the 3rd best scoring offense in the country (just since he's been back not for all season) and Auburn has shown they have little to no Defense so if they can go toe to toe with Auburns offense they could keep it close. I'm not going to OFFICIALLY call it for them but it would be nice.

the pac-10 will become the pac-12 next year because we also picked up utah.

actually arizona was never in the hunt for a national championship. the best we could have hoped for was a rose bowl berth, but that is pretty much gone now since we lost to stanford. perhaps next year.

As a fan you disappoint me, as far as you feelings of having no chance, you're actually quite wrong. 1996 Gators, and the 2007 Tigers would both disagree with you.

It was a loooooong shot before saturday, no doubt, but if Arizona won out they would have won the Pac 10 and been the only 1 loss team in the pac 10 and beaten the#13 team in stanford & the #1 team IN Eugene and then won their rivalry game (stuff voters look at) and all the computers use strength of schedule in their analysis and taking on the number 1 team in week 13 would boost their schedule both weeks.

they were 15th and would need help, A LOT, but given how the rest of this past saturday and this season has gone it mighta been enough to knock out 2 top 15 teams in their last 4 games.

As a fan i understand realism but you gotta also have hope/belief, and before the loss to stanford hope was very much alive and well. Shoot Oak State jumped from 17 to 10 after one week and they beat the #21 ranked team. now hope is lost but saturday afternoon b4 kickoff, the chance was still there.

arizona lost their shot at the national championship this year due to its loss to oregon state. all is not lost however, if the team keeps improving like they are, they will contend for a national championship in a few years, perhaps even next year. if foles and scott both stay around for their senior year, they will provide one heck of a one two punch if stoops decides to either platoon them, or otherwise get them both into the game together at the same time. these guys have combined for a 75% pass completion, and foles has thrown for over 1800 yards despite being out for two games.

by the way, if you want to see real enthusiasm, watch the arizona basketball team this year. they are loaded for bear, and they will be gunning for a championship season, and sean miller has the enviable position of having more quality players than he has scholarships for in the next few years. if things go as i think they will, it will be lute olson version 2.0, and very likely another 25 ncaa tournament streak in the making. perhaps this time they will break the record.

i wish USF would have a decent BB Team :sadpanda:

playing in a Basket ball mecca conference doesnt help either.

well, arizona lost to USC in football, but they mopped the floor with idaho state in basketball. good start to the basketball season with a 48 point win(90-42).

Will Muschamp named new Gators Head Coach. He was the only coach interviewed for the job and the only coach offered the job.

Denver ousts McDoushyourshorts on Monday, Meyer "Retires" on Wednesday, and UF hires Will on Friday, announcing it on Saturday.... HMMMMMMMMMMMMM.........

if only adam schefter and chris mortensen hadn't already said the denver reunion wont be happening perhaps it could have been a holy trinity week in football. Oh well.

Gators D is going to be serious. Texas is in deep skit for the next season or two... Or three
New coaching staff, jackass qb, weak d, no running game.... Ugh
  12. FreeBird Selbstmord ist Schmerzfre

yeah QB didn't show shit this year. i wonder if he'll lose the job during spring and summer practices.

    couldn't agree more.

but the many faces of the "O" for oregon definately come in second for me.

just wish the USF helmets could get rid of the green stripe cause i think it'l look a lot classier as well...

or at the very lease make it like TCU's pro combat where it starts thick and then tapers off.

or even the reverse where it comes too a point near the front like the Denver Broncos helmet... just without the 2 half length side running stripes
