Just watch for shit to pop up in the upper right, not the bottom of the screen. It gives you the same alerts, just in a different section of the screen. There is a notify option, that may for some reason be turned off on your system, i'd double check in settings to make sure.
will do. actually i did i tested it out with a friend after you got off. jen and i both watch the full screen has he logged off, back on sent a message and a game invite. should have gotten atleast 2 if not 4 messages of info and not one thing popped up.
Sounds like you might need to turn on that setting... weird, because I thought they all come with that turned on. I'm able to see everyone that gets on or offline and who is sending me invites or messages with out any issues... idk.
yeah no biggie i figured it was a setting anyways. only thing chapping my hide now is my 360 fanboiness that kept me from getting PS3 sooner
Juiced87notch and warchicken like oxy said man theres a window that pops up in the top righthand corner when someone sends you anything, it is easy to miss but i like it better than xbox's msg system since i usually dont respond while im in a game anyways.
yeah i has that box in the menu but unless im at the PSN menu i wont know i recieved anything cause currently nothing pops up "in game"
i was online in the spec ops snowy sniper mission paused and we both just sat looking at the screen while we tested this i realize 55" is fucking huge but we scanned the whole screen, nothing popped up i pushed the PS button under the back and start buttons afer friend texted me to let me know he signed off, back on and sent a regular message and game invit. all that was there were the two mesages and his profile having been on for 2 minutes but nothing popped up on the ingame screen i'm sure its a setting, but currently it isn't there
added joo stink yesterdayish. and jesse and i found my setting firday night on his PS3. checked it saturday and sure enough i had notifications turend off so there! lol
