*d Been craving a Hemi AWD Magnum for ~3 years since I finished college in May '08. Got engaged, bought a house, got married, had a little baby, you know how the shit goes. Still craving a Hemi Magnum but considering going RWD because they're hard as fuck to find to begin with, let alone with AWD and a 5.7. I've driven a RWD 2.3 Mustang daily since I was 16 (25 now) and never really had any issues, though I enlist aggressive snow treads November through March. My wife's got an '03 Accord (FWD obviously) and we both agree we'd like at least 1 AWD/4WD vehicle available to us come winter. Key facts: -We live <2 miles from her job -I can carpool to work with a neighbor who's got a Cherokee -We live in PA, roughly midway between Philly and the Poconos (so AWD/4WD is needed maybe 5-10 times per year ... wow that makes it sound like a no brainer) So talk me into or out of buying a RWD Magnum
Why not just get an SUV or truck if you want AWD/4WD? It's not like an AWD Hemi Magnum is going to be good on gas anyway...
I just don't want an SUV and really like the Magnum's styling. Can't see myself in a Subaru. Don't know if I could afford a Cummins unless it were old & high mileage.
