Basically Soccer isn't that high profile here on this site or in this country so i'll just put all my non-World Cup posts here, and to start it off: My favorite short little Greman Defender just signed a 3 year extension with my Favorite non-english Club Team keeping him there until 2016 Bayern confirm Philipp Lahm is to sign a new contract - Europe - ESPN Soccernet And with Schweiny and Lahm being as close of friends as they are, and with Muller signing last month the likelyhood he will sign could make Bayern Munich the Champions Leage favorites for year to come. 5 of the STAR starters for the National Team from the 3rd place 2010 WC team are on Bayern and 3 other WC roll players are also on this club team. they just signed the golden boot recipient last month (Muller) AWESOMELY Young Team with a shitload of upside Time to start twisting wifes arm for one of these officially now that its been announced
schweiny Resigned last week Bundesliga Comment: Bastian Schweinsteiger's Contract Renewal Lays The Foundations Of Bayern Munich's Long-Term Success - Goal.com- this basically makes FC Bayern Munchen equal to the early 2000's Yankees D-Philipp Lahm under contract through 2016 S-Miroslav Klose under contract through 2015 M-Bastian Schweinsteiger under contract through 2016 S/M-Thomas Muller under contract through 2015 S/W-Mario Gomez under contract through 2012 M-Toni Kroos under contract through 2012 K-Hans Butt under contract through 2016 Are all regulars/starters for the national team and played in the 2010 world cup and EUFA 2012 qualifying matches. These three are all in for atleast next 2 years and have be reserves for the national team during recent friendly matches: Holger Badstuber Maximilian Haas Thomas Kraft Only Bayer Leverkusen has even close to the same number of players represented in the national team squad, and 3 of their 4 are old as shit and basically all currently Jeter level of play at the moment (more name than production). Next step is to try and get Podolski back, but given his mixed success when we DID have him i doubt they'll be interested to bring him back
