I'm so happy this deserves it's own thread!

Late Monday afternoon the news broke that the Denver Broncos sent the worst coach in Franchise HISTORY packing monday after an embarassing Video taping scandal that is being dubbed Spygate 2.0. No real suprise he'd get caught cheating, after all he was one of the main people cited in the inner workings during the New England Spygate scandal, and HE did come from the coaching loins of one Bill Bilicheat himself.

A few Key Moments in Josh McDaniels Coaching Tenure.

~He chose DE/OLD Robert Ayers (Bowlen wanted Moreno) when Clay Mathews, James Laurenitis (and i HATE OSU), and ReyRey from USC were all still on the board and listed as better LB's
~ Trade 2 picks to move up in the 2nd round to take Alphonso Smith (see trade later on)
    ~Started 6-0
~Blew a certian playoff berth with a 0-4 effort to end the 2009 season
    ~Has gone 5-17 since starting 6-0
~Moved a Pro Bowl QB because they didnt see eye to eye.
~Moved a two time Pro Bowl #1 WR because they didnt see eye to eye.
~Moved an up and coming TE to Detroit who finished 2008 in the top 5 in the AFC for Yards and Receptions by a TE.
~Moved a 2009 high 2nd round CB (that they paid 2 picks for) to Detroit for a 2009 7th round 3rd string TE (who was 1 spot BEHIND the TE they had just moved over to Detroit)
~Entered the 2010 Draft with the 3rd most picks, and ended it with the 16th most picks.
~Traded a 2nd, 3rd AND 4th round draft pick to grab a QB in the 1st round that everyone knew would have been there by mid 2nd anyway. Tebow has seen only limmited playing time at goal line moments.(I am in love with Tebow but still it was a shit move and one Josh hung his coaching hat on...)
~ Fired the only reason they even won 8 games in 2009, DC Mike Nolan, because they didnt see eye to eye :tard: Consequently, Mike is now in Miami where he is Coordinating the 4th best total yards per game D in the leage (9th in rushing, and 5th in passing). While Denver is now the 31st (or 2nd worst) rush defense in the league, and 22nd pass defense in the league, see Alphonso Smith trade.

I'm so happy he's gone i'm just interested to see who/if they pick up a HC in 2011, and what roll Tim Tebow will play in the new coaches' scheme. But today starts a new chapter that leaves the Broncos coaching crippled in the next 2 years as their petition to not have to pay McDaniels the remainder of his 7 million dollar contract due to his firing being done with "Just Cause" was denied, and they still owe Shanahan part of his 21 million dollar deal.

My goodness has this one coaching regime fucked us for the next 2 to 3 years though  It's almost like he showed up JUST to weaken the franchise and spin it out of control.

Sounds like he'd be a perfect fit with my 'Skins.

yeah i am disappointed in shannys actions with the QB situation in Washington :(

But if Washington sticks with Shanny and they can get Hainsworth either on board or out of the lockerroom they'll have a chance. he did only have 2 REAL picks to really do ANYTHING with in 2010... and Williams and riley are working out IMO

I just hope they can get the running game going *cough* Murray or Ingram for work horse style duties (ingram has been saved with his 1-2 tandem so he wont be banged up coming out of college and murray has been saving his body while showing his abilities all year as well) or the best available OL since half of his line is injured */cough* and then find some HEALTHY defensive secondary guys or the best available WR in the 2nd since all of your WR's seem to be hurt (definately doesn't help McNabb does it LOL) *cough* Best available WR or CB Jenoris Jenkins or Curtis Brown as "mister Run offense" will likely go RB or best OL in first and both could be available in the early 2nd */cough*

Not predicting just looking at what i feel shanny will want to go with (and his track record in Denver, and his D front 7 (except for hainsworth) is mainly just playing crappy due to injury and uncertainty with hainsworth IMO so he wont jump to fix that area early next year.

Do you think this spy thing has anything to do with the score when KC went to denver a few weeks ago? It was like 35-0 at half in denver. Then when denver came to KC it was a 10-6 win for KC.

Yeah, cause taping SF 49ers practice would DEFINATELY help them against the chiefs

I don't know if they taped the chiefs back then, but if they did then the chiefs completely flopped game plans on Denver between those 3 weeks. either way the more losses Denver racks up now, the better O lineman/DT we can get in teh first round next year. (for once i want to see meat added instead of flash n dash.) If they snag one of the top Tackles, left or right. then with a stable HC we could have a line to rival the 1995-2000 group that saw multiple 1400+ yard rushers, Davis' 2008 yard campaign, and atleast 1000 yards by one of our RB's in each of those 6 years

Clady, Beadles, Walton, and (insert name here) would be BANGIN' in 2 years :) with Kuper and Harris both being decent seasoned vets to help secure it. I can only wish Clark could get some experience with Clady being out so much this year but he just doesnt look that good at all right now. We'll see it's still his first year.

hrm, so this is why my bronco's have been sucking

That's what i was asking... do you think they taped the cheifs the first game (at denver) and didn't use the tape for the 2nd game. It was like they were two different games, the 2nd one being a much closer game
  8. Cali Korleone Fists with your toes?

So they'll be paying 3 head coaches now. 2 no longer work for them and of course the new onw.

Don't worry MN will probably pick him up...we're good like that.

probably not. i think KC has just found their groove, and denvers rush D is 2nd to last, and choice and company ran all over them. it was strictly skill last week :(
