Shows as animated on my profile page and in the avatar selection window, not animated in the posts though.

Was this a newly uploaded avatar or an old one you had already? Xenforo is looking into it.

Apparently the server doesn't have the right extension installed. I'm talking with them to see if they will get it installed so we can use the animated avatars. Stayed tuned!

OK, give the animated avatars another shot. New version, hope it works.

With the latest release there was a new image library to handle resizing of images, animated or not. The script times out on our server. I've got an open ticket to see if they may be able to figure out why.

Erase your avatar and reup it, should work.

Ya, avatars currently in the system won't automatically animate. You have to re-upload the avatar to get it to work.

But if you save that one, change the extension from jpg to gif.

I'll check it out tomorrow when I'm on a computer. Leave it the way it is so your old avatar is still there. Do you have the original animated gif?
