Awesome thread, I'm super stoked for this offseason... Now if only the Bucs could hire a decent O coordinator and D coordinator.

copy & paste into your post Cali.

Billy Cundiff gets my vote for Choke of the year. That field goal he missed is one that he could make in his sleep, he's a seasoned vet and should've made that kick all day, not shank it as bad as he did.

Needs going into next year, copy/paste + edits from www.walterfootball.com

    Oakland Raiders Offseason Needs:
    1. Nose Tackle: The Raiders will likely be moving back to a 3-4 defense. What they need most is a nose tackle who can stuff the run. There will be plenty of those available in free agency and late in the drafts first 3 rounds. Oakland will no doubt have to trade up do to their lack of picks.
    2. Rush Linebacker: Kamerion Wimbley will play one rush linebacker position, but Oakland doesn't seem to have anyone capable of starting on the other side. Matt Shaughnessy doesn't project well into the 3-4 as a end or rush backer.
    3. Two Interior Linemen: Center Samson Satele is a free agent and should be retained. If he's not retained, Stefen Wisniewski could slide into his spot, with Bruce Campbell taking over at left guard. In that case, the Raiders would need to bring in a guard to compete with Bruce Campbell and add depth. On the other side, Cooper Carlisle, will be 35 in August, and he isn't the player he once was.
    4. Cornerback: Chris Johnson probably won't be back next year. The Raiders cannot have someone like Lito Sheppard playing tons of snaps next year. CB depth is decent in this draft even in the later rounds.
    5. Right Tackle: Khalif Barnes will be hitting the market in March, but that's not an issue because he stinks. The Raiders may want to bring in a veteran to compete with Joseph Barksdale for the position or shoot for JB Shugarts in the draft.
    6. Strong Safety: Tyvon Branch is a key free agent who will need to be re-signed. Michael Mitchell was predictably awful when on the field in 2011.
    7. Inside Linebacker Depth: The Raiders are currently thin behind Rolando McClain and Aaron Curry at inside linebacker. There will be several FA's that should fill some depth.
    8. Defensive End Depth: Oakland will need defensive end depth behind Lamarr Houston and Richard Seymour in their new defense.
    9. Running Back: Michael Bush is a free agent. If he leaves, a capable power runner will be needed.
  5. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

    Denver Broncos Offseason Needs:
    1. Left Guard or Right Tackle: Josh McDaniels is getting credit for the Tim Tebow and Demaryius Thomas selections, but he made a number of dumb picks in the NFL Draft, including Zane Beadles, who was guilty of seven sacks and seven penalties in 2011. The Broncos should not move right tackle Orlando Franklin into his position, so Denver will need help at Guard. Early reports have the Broncos enamored with Stanford Tackle Jonathan Martin.
    2. Cornerback: Champ Bailey is still getting the job done, but the other starter, Andre' Goodman, is pretty much finished. Goodman, 34 this offseason, will need to be replaced. If Bailey is finally moved to S, then look for the Broncos to double dip at the CB position in the draft.
    3. Center: Another poor McDaniels selection was center J.D. Walton, who looked completely lost most weeks. He couldn't block anyone in the two New England losses. To the Broncos and McDaniels credit, Walton was the highest rated Center in that draft.
    4. Defensive Tackle: Brodrick Bunkley had a great 2011 campaign as a run-stuffer, but neither he nor fellow starting defensive tackle Marcus Thomas offered much in terms of getting to the quarterback. The Broncos will need to invest in an interior pass-rusher, perhaps Jerel Worthy or Fletcher Cox with the 25th pick this April. Keep in mind that Bunkley is a free agent, so Denver will need two defensive tackles if he departs.
    5. Wide Receiver: Denver will need a starting wideout. Tebow has developed great chemistry with Demaryius Thomas, but he doesn't have anyone else to throw to, unless you want to count Eric Decker and free agent Eddie Royal, both of whom are not #1 "flanker" WR's.
    6. Inside Linebacker: Joe Mays was exposed as a huge liability in the playoffs. Another upgrade is needed in the middle of Denver's defense.
    7. Running Back: Willis McGahee predictably wore down the stretch. Knowshon Moreno can't stay healthy and was just busted with a DUI. The Broncos really need a reliable running back. They may take one in the first two rounds of the 2012 NFL Draft where there is plenty of talent.
    8. Kicker: Matt Prater proved himself to be an extremely clutch kicker. He'll be seeking a big contract as a free agent this offseason and should get it.
    9. Strong Safety: It's unfortunate, but Brian Dawkins will have to retire because of a neck injury. Unless Denver wants to start 2011 fourth-rounder Quinton Carter next year, it'll need to bring in a veteran to hold down the fort for a season or two. Carter did play well down the stretch.
    10. Backup Quarterback: Brady Quinn is, well, Brady Quinn. He's also a free agent. Look for John Elway to spend a Round 3-5 selection on a signal-caller, possibly Brandon Weeden who is a Vet by definition.
  6. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offseason Needs:
    1. Two Cornerbacks: Aqib Talib is going to prison most likely and/or will be cut by new HC Greg Schiano, while Ronde Barber is about to retire or depart for Washington. Not good. This is Tampa's greatest need, which is saying a lot because there are a ton of holes on this roster.
    2. Two Linebackers: The first one can be a strongside linebacker to replace the awful Quincy Black, or an inside linebacker so Mason Foster can occupy Black's position. Foster was terrible last year as well, but he'll get another shot and rightly should. The second linebacker will have to replace Geno Hayes if he's not re-signed.
    3. Right Tackle: Many upgrades are needed on the offensive line, most prominently right tackle. The Buccaneers were absolutely insane to give Jeremy Trueblood a 2-year, $10 million contract this past offseason, given that he's one of the worst linemen in the NFL. The Bucs may look at Iowa tackle Reily Reiff early on in the draft.
    4. Wide Receiver: The Buccaneers need a downfield threat because their offense is so compressed. They could go for Justin Blackmon in the 2012 NFL Draft at 5th overall and just may, or perhaps wait on someone like T.Y. Hilton or Brian Quick in Round 3.
    5. Center: I don't know what happened to Jeff Faine, but his play has really fallen off in the past couple of years. Probably due to him being lazy and old. The center position is one of three upgrades needed on the offensive line.
    6. Running Back: LeGarrette Blount is an idiot. I mean that literally. He can't learn protection schemes, so he's completely lost in the passing game. The Buccaneers either need a full-time runner or someone to complement Blount. Trent Richardson was once listed as an option at No. 5 overall, he remains a strong possibility at the #5 spot in the draft.
    7. Left Guard: Jeremy Zuttah is a free agent. He had a solid year for the Buccaneers, so they should re-sign him. Especially since his old College coach just became the HC for Tampa.
    8. Fullback: Earnest Graham is a 32-year-old free agent coming off a torn Achilles. The team needs to look for a new fullback.
    9. Defensive Tackle Depth: Fat Albert Haynesworth won't be around next year unless he takes a massive pay cut, so Tampa should acquire some depth here and rightly should as both Brian Price and Greg McCoy have been injured for a majority of their short careers.
  7. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

    Kansas City Chiefs Offseason Needs:
    1. Quarterback: It's a shame the Chiefs couldn't hire Josh McDaniels to work with Matt Cassel again. Cassel will be the starter next year, but he's very mediocre. He doesn't have the physical tools to consistently lead his team deep into the playoffs. Ricky Stanzi, a fifth-round pick in 2011, isn't much of a ray of hope either, given that he couldn't unseat Tyler Palko as the starter once Cassel went down.
    2. Right Tackle: Barry Richardson was one of the worst starting linemen in the NFL last year. I'm sure the Chiefs would love to land Riley Reiff with the 11th-overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft. Jonathan Martin would work as well.
    3. Nose Tackle: Kelly Gregg turns 36 this year. Jerrell Powe, drafted in the sixth round last April, barely played. If Kansas City isn't too optimistic about Powe, it could use its second-rounder on Dontari Poe.
    4. Cornerback: Brandon Flowers, bastard of Highgarden, was re-signed to a big contract in September. The Chiefs will also have to lock up free-agent Brandon Carr. If he leaves, they'll need a new starting cornerback.
    5. Guard/Center: Casey Wiegmann will turn 39 in July. He's mulling retirement, so if he follows through, the Chiefs will need an interior offensive lineman, depending on where they want to utilize 2011 second-rounder Rodney Hudson.
    6. Tight End: Tony Moeaki was injury-prone at Iowa, so it wasn't a surprise to see him tear his ACL in the preseason. Moeaki is talented, but unreliable. A mid-round pick could be used on a tight end.
    7. Running Back: Jamaal Charles will be back from a torn ACL. There were already questions about his ability to carry the load, so the Chiefs should find another capable back to split carries with him. If Trent Richardson isn't available at No. 11 overall, a mid-round pick could be used on a complement.
    8. Rush Linebacker Depth: Justin Houston really came on at the end of last season, but the Chiefs won't have much of a pass rush if either he or Tamba Hali goes down with an injury next year.
    9. Inside Linebacker Depth: Kansas City is also thin in this area.
  8. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

    Philadelphia Eagles Offseason Needs:
    1. Two Linebackers: Brian Rolle showed promise at weakside linebacker, so Philadelphia will probably keep him there as the starter in 2012. It's the other two positions that need to be fixed. Jamar Chaney and Casey Matthews were awful last year. If Luke Kuechly falls to the Eagles at No. 15 in the 2012 NFL Draft, they'd be crazy not to take him.
    2. Wide Receiver: DeSean Jackson probably won't be back next year; the consensus around Philadelphia is that he'll be part of some tag-and-trade deal. If Jackson leaves, the Eagles will need a deep threat at receiver. Michael Floyd and Kendall Wright will be looked at with the No. 15 pick this April.
    3. Cornerback: Asante Samuel most likely will not be in an Eagle uniform in 2012. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is a lazy bum. The Eagles once again have to address the cornerback position.
    4. Strong Safety: Poor linebacker and safety play haunted the Dream Team this past season. Nate Allen finished up the year well, but Jaiquawn Jarrett was a big disappointment as a rookie. Philadelphia might want to think about bringing in a veteran to hold down the fort until Jarrett is ready.
    5. Defensive Tackle: The Eagles have some free-agent defensive tackles they have to re-sign. Even still, Mike Patterson is no sure thing because of the seizure he suffered this past August.
    6. Offensive Line Depth: Philadelphia is really thin at tackle and guard. As it stands right now, Winston Justice would have to play if Jason Peters or Todd Herremans gets hurt. That's not good. The Eagles will also need a new guard if Evan Mathis isn't re-signed.
    7. Backup Quarterback: The Eagles need a reliable veteran behind their injury-prone starting quarterback unless they think Mike Kafka is ready to take on that role.
    8. Punter: Rookie Chas Henry stunk up the joint. Andy Reid may want to give him another year, but Henry really has to improve.

If ditka wouldn't have ran ricky into the ground i think he could have been a much happier and more productive RB. Congrats Ricky. Mad props to you for all your accomplishments.

OK, now Fox, go give this guy a pep talk and bring him to denver. :slow:

:slow: Fox needs to draft Trent Richardson, Lamar Miler or Doug Martin... and/or pick up someone in FA. :slow:

I also hope the Bucs can do something similar, Blount srsly regressed and after him there is no one.
  15. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

Also I'm a little surprised that Oak cut Stanford Routt, he's a pretty decent cover corner ...but I guess maybe not worth the $ his contract was set to pay
  16. B00STED4V Caution: Pees Everywhere When Drunk

Also the Bucs hired Mike Sullivan, NYGs QB and WR coach as their new Offensive Coordinator :woot:

...I'm just a little worried about the INT %. Freeman already has an issue with throwing INTs

Does Philly resign D. Jackson, or does the injured eagle fly to somewhere new via free agency?
