oh i know. the two guys i'm calling would be doing it as a side but i can understand someone wanting to replace the whole roof and THAT costing like 6 or 7 k but fuck that honestly. im gunna look more into it next saturday and sunday and if its no worse across the rest of the 20' awning aint no way im going to do a FULL fix. just fix the leak and bad boards and thats it. and since the leak is at the gutter no way ill be replacing much more that outside boards...

yeah i guess... but i'm not fucking replacig an entire board and subsequently ripping up and entire portion of my back rooms flat roof just to replace 8 to 10 inches on three boards. i'd rather just cut off bad sections and mount new wood onto those sections. If a contractor of someone of the sort wont do it for liability reasons then kool what ev' but looking down at the rafters at the lack of any apparent physical dammage to them over the actual room (and the fact the house is only worth 75K total there is no fucking way id'd spend a tenth of that for a whopping 6 feet of dammage to a section of the roof that isn't even affecting the interior portions of the house :shrug: No offence to you, your estimate, or your profession but aint no fucking way i'd spend that...

Well talked to the lady and its not sounding good at the moment. I might only be able to do a conventional loan. Thats gonna hurt me cause at the moment I don't really have a down payment.
